The next printer you?ll want on your desk is a color laser printer.
Forget those cheap outdated inkjet printers.
They are cheap for one reason, to get you to buy ink.
I?m not making that up.
It came right from an executive of a leading inkjet printer manufacturer.
Do you have a black and white laser printer?
These gems are the best for the home office.
Cheap, guilt free printing with high quality usually reserved for a large office.
The price is right on the home models.
You can almost buy one for the cost of a black and a color ink cartridge.
But let?s talk about color laser jet printers.
A color laser jet works just like a black printer except it has 4 toner cartridges.
Each one has its own life.
The base printers I was looking at had a recommended monthly volume of up to 30,000 pages.
Don?t think I?ll have that much.
Photo printing is a must these days and you want to print your pictures without the fear of using up all the ink.
Digital cameras are everywhere, but getting the pictures printed in photo quality seems to be the biggest drawback to the cameras.
Enter the color laserjet printer.
Speed is a big factor in printing.
At home, I?m usually not in a big hurry, so I?ll spend less and wait.
I?ll send stuff to the printer and check it later when it?s done.
You can save a bunch if you don? t need speed.
The HP2600n is my pick for a home color laser printer.
The Hewlett Packard was also selected as ?PC Magazine Editor?s Choice? award.
Let me give you the scoop.
First, price.
Don?t be afraid.
$400.
Yes, that?s all for a color laser jet.
Speed?
8 pages per minute.
16 meg of RAM, but the 2600n is network ready for the small or home office.
For comparison, I looked at the 2500L.
This HP model was faster at 20 ppm black but only 4 ppm in color.
It did have more memory ? 64MB as compared to 16MB, but it was not network ready.
Price?
Same.
The one thing that tipped me over the edge to the 2600n was that all 4 toner cartridges were right in the front.
I personally examined this unit today and the quality is dead on with Hewlett Packard?s reputation in the printing industry.
The price and quality are hard to beat.

How To Make Money On Ebay By Buying
by: Dan Lim
Most people think you got to sell on ebay in order to make money. However, there are other ways to make money on ebay other than selling. One secret way is buying. What do I mean? Read on.
That secret method is called ebay arbitrage.
The term arbitrage has been around for a long time. It is a technique used in the stock market by large players who search (with powerful computers in real time) for price discrepancies from one market to another. For example if they see dealers in London trading IBM stock at 1/8th
pt lower than in New York, even if it's only for a few seconds, they'll grab it at the lower price and sell it in New York where they'll make an 1/8th pt profit.
So how does that apply to Ebay?
The strategy is buying low in one central Internet market and selling in another more active market for a premium.
Ebay is a huge marketplace, and even though it...

The Truth About Horizon Treadmills
by: Dean Iggo
Hopefully you haven't arrived at this article expecting a rave review of Horizon treadmills.
Although the company, has been around for a long time it seems their treadmills have not kept up with the evolving fitness equipment scene.
In my opinion horizon treadmills should not be considered for your home gym.
At between $700 and $1,400 some people might say that because they are a cheap treadmill you shouldn't be expecting too much.
However I think if you are seriously considering setting up your own home gym then you should be expecting a treadmill that is a) going to perform and b) last longer than the time to your next birthday.
Sure it's a cheap brand but you might not be saying that after you fork out for the costly repairs!
The main problem with the machines is that they are manufactured in China.
Although this keeps the cost of production...

All About Internet Advertising Methods
by: David Riewe
People opt for internet advertising methods because practically half of the world's population knows HTML. If you have your own business, you have to decide on what internet advertising method works for you. Ask yourself what are you going to avail of: the expensive internet advertising methods or the cheap ones? Others will pipe in "expensive!" immediately, but they don't know cheap internet advertising method attracts great benefits as well.
Here's the lowdown and a comparative look on the cheap and expensive internet advertising methods:
The Expensive:
1. Pop-ups. Not only is this expensive, but also outright annoying that visitors close pop-up windows without even bothering to know what they're all about. This is an internet advertising method that you can do without.
Fly ads are derivatives of pop-ups which are also equally irking to the visitors.
2. 1....

BT Broadband
by: Neil Shevlin
Approximately 4 million people in the UK use ADSL with an extra 2 million using a cable connection, meaning 6 million people in the UK have an always-on internet connection. Of these over 1.7 million are subscribed to BT?s broadband package, making them the UK?s main broadband provider.
Back in August 2000 BT first launched its high-speed internet connection to customers. Initially only available to around one third of UK households and costing ?500 a year it was the first step in many to Broadband Britain.
There are currently only 2 ways to connect to ADSL in the UK. Recently a technique called Local Loop Unbundling means you don?t need to have a BT phone line, but at the moment only 1% of people on broadband in the UK use this method. The only other way to connect transforms an existing BT phone line into a high-speed digital line. This is only available with a BT phone line though, so even if you don?t...

Lagos, Portugal ? Casa Rosa and Joe?s Garage
Lagos, Portugal ? Casa Rosa and Joe?s Garage
by: Rick Chapo
If you?re a budget traveler or backpacking Europe, Lagos is a cheap slice of paradise. Casa Rosa is the place for general sustenance, while Joe?s Garage is a place to let go.
Casa Rosa
Casa Rosa claims to be the haven for backpackers in Lagos. The more you travel, the more you know such claims are rarely true. With Casa Rosa, however, I can confirm the claim is true. This hole in the wall served heaping mounds of the food of the day for really cheap prices. It was packed with backpackers, which made it a good place to meet people and exchange war stories.
I haven?t been to Portugal for four years, so I have to attach a caveat to recommending Casa Rosa. When I first visited Casa Rosa in the 1990?s, it was owned by a couple of Brits, who were apparently trying to sell it. I dropped in twice in subsequent years and they were still there and still trying to sell it. Whether...
